About Us
Our Story
Please allow me to introduce you to Gunny Products. They are an advance in polycrystalline diamond emulsions. Made with a deionization proprietary process that deionizes the diamonds. This prevents agglomeration and allows me to guarantee that they’re agglomerate free below 1 micron. Above that it’s a non issue. Agglomeration is where the diamonds clump together forming a larger abrasive particle than the micron size listed. By deionizing the diamonds they act in a similar fashion to magnets when you face the same poles together. They push away and will not stick together. This ensures that the diamonds do not cause stray scratches as you go through the progression. Gunny Juice also has the tightest particle size specifications on the market. This stropping compound takes your edges to that next level of sharpness and the polish is second to none. The first video is showing the diamonds of a 0.1 micron emulsion on a nanocloth strop. Do you see the diamonds sparkle? This is a high concentration emulsion that has hit that sweet spot. High enough for amazing cutting speed and low enough for that flawless polish. This is the next step in the evolution of stropping compounds. Whether hand stropping or power stropping Gunny Juice works faster than anything on th market today. We are raising the bar. We’re also working on new innovative products that can change the future of edge performance.
THE Process
Gunny Juice is available in many grits in 10 ml and 30 ml volume.
The diamond suspension can be used with any strop made of leather, balsa, or nano cloth.
To use, simply pump the desired amount of suspension on your stropping medium, spread evenly, let dry, then use as usual.
You will not be able to fully remove the compound after applying it to the strop. If you want to use your strop both with and without compound, you must, therefore, keep one side clean. If you want to switch between one compound and another, consider buying an extra strop.
Compound residue accumulates in the leather during stropping. If stropping performance gets worse, remove the residue with a knife spine or special tool, and apply the fresh compound.
